Twelve Minutes
Modern video games are sometimes striking in their diversity and mixture of styles. "Groundhog Day" with thriller elements - how do you like that? Throw away the far-fetched feelings about the boringness of such a plot and plunge into the time loop with the heroes of the game Twelve Minutes. On the screen is a married couple who have been living together for eight years and everything looks great in their relationship. And so, one evening, your character (man) comes tired from work, sits down with his wife at the table... and then a knock on the door interrupts the idyll. The uninvited guest turns out to be a detective accusing your missus of a crime that, as she claims with a bewildered look, she did not commit. The situation ends badly for the couple, but immediately after that you find yourself in the same setting and everything repeats again. Perhaps you should try to change the course of events? For example, consider the use of items. Or build a dialog differently. In general, if you want to get to the bottom of the truth about your spouse's past and understand what is going on, players will need to use all available means. Things only get more complicated when your wife starts acting weird or you just think so... This game is of particular interest because at first glance there are not many items here, the couple's home looks minimalist, and after repeating the same thing, you may want to give up. The same mood overwhelms your character, so don't panic. Because not only what you change in the replicas, but also the change in your actions affects everything that happens next like a butterfly effect - and the outcome will definitely surprise you. In addition to using different skills and ingenuity, players will also have to think about moral choices, rethink their past (in the game), and figure out how to live on. Yes, Twelve Minutes is a game about human error and what it leads to. Get ready for the fact that the gameplay can turn into a real arthouse with mysteries, puzzles, and drama.
