Journey to the Savage Planet is a humorous, playful first-person adventure in which you will explore and unravel the secrets of a mysterious planet in a very distant part of the universe. The game is flavored with plenty of elements:
- survival - but without the need to drink water, get enough sleep, search for food and take care of oxygen;
- platforming - jump, jump and again - jump;
- souls-like elements - bonfires, teleports, savings, and collection of resources/souls are attached;
- boosting - even shooters need it;
- crafting - very simple and easy.
Gameplay
You will definitely enjoy how the passage itself and conditional survival are implemented in Journey to the Savage Planet. You have ONE gun with infinite ammo, and everything else has to be found and adapted (with the completion of separate quests) from the local nature: boom grenades, acid bombs, chocolate fruits, sticky bile, hook seed, etc. Even the treatment here is realized through the absorption of the berry-fruit of the local life-giving plant. With each new location, the verticality of the gameplay increases. If, at first, everything happens almost on the same plane, then the further you go through the story and discover new territories, the more important the ability to jump, cling, climb, using all the gadgets and skills received before that becomes. And yes, you will have to use all the chips invented by the authors. This is not a conventional game, where you were given some new items that you use once and happily forget. Here, every new mechanic is in demand until the very end. Got a grappling hook, double jump launchers, a rocket pack? Be sure you will apply them until the last moment of the game. However, you don't have to think much here: go strictly according to the plot, complete the tasks of artificial intelligence, collect key upgrades in the right sequence and enjoy the adventure that the authors of the game have come up with for you. But you should understand that if you don't want to die on the boss in a couple of seconds, you have to try a little harder. Collect some fruit, which increases the health bar, that you need to complete additional quests and get "explorer levels" in order to improve the jump slightly, add cartridges to the pistol or increase the damage from it. The game is insanely fascinating, it can give you a dozen hours of bright and extraordinary adventure, in which you will try yourself in the role of a galactic explorer, comprehend and study all the proposed mechanics and sigh happily after killing the final boss. Or maybe you can find an alternative ending?System requirements
