The Outer Worlds: Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle (Europe) Epic Games
The Outer Worlds is a first-person computer role-playing game developed by the American company Obsidian Entertainment for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
Game Plot
The Outer Worlds takes place in the distant future, around a star no less distant (from the Sun), where the colony of Halcyon is spread over several planets. Since the Earth is far away, the power of the local state in the colony is present only nominally, and everything is subject to the will of several large corporations. The game starts when the player's character is awakened from suspended animation by a strange scientist, and almost immediately, the adventure begins. First, your hero gets at his disposal the spaceship "Unreliable", on which you will travel the world of grotesque corporate capitalism.Gameplay
The Outer Worlds surprises you with a few innovations in the role-playing system. The skills are now divided into groups of two or three, and at first, one skill point is added to all the skills of the group at once. When a skill reaches fifty, you can invest points separately in it. When in the group there is only one skill weaker than fifty, the ability to invest points in the entire group at once will disappear. Considering that you can only collect thirty levels (if you play without DLC), it turns out to be quite convenient. You won't be able to pump everything in the world, but a couple of secondary skills can be developed. Then, every two levels, you get new perks, but not so much that you will have the feeling of a painful choice when you want to take everything at once. For instance, if you are often get concussed, a window will pop up with a proposal to take a flaw for a permanent concussion and at the same time get a perk point. But what you really need during the game is your skills — especially mastering the dialogues. There is not only one "speaking" ability in the game, as is usually the case, but three: persuasion, lying, and intimidation. Choose what you like, as you know how it works - where there are dialogues, there are quests. Here, you get many large and small stories about interesting and funny characters. The variability of solutions is present in full, and you can solve issues with a word, a bullet, lies, and theft. And the game is made so that you will have to resolve plenty of such issues. You will have the ability to intervene in several major conflicts. Participate in auditions for a role in a movie. Repair the air conditioners on the giant starship. Climb into the crashed cruiser. Sew fashionable clothes. Redirect insurance payments. Well, all sorts of secret riddles of corporations to reveal at the same time.System requirements
